Researching Your Roots

One of the museum's most valuable resources is its collection of local burial and gravestone records. Volunteers regularly assist researchers, both locally and abroad, in tracing family connections to Tullow and the surrounding area.

Founding of Grange Chapel, 1823

“The Rev. Mr. H. M. H. of the Wesleyan Methodists, having obtained a lease of the Grange, and having secured the necessary subscriptions, will proceed to erect a chapel in the said Grange, and to dedicate it to the service of the Lord.”
